Advanced Gut Test
The Advanced Gut Test combines both our Funtional and Compositional tests to give you a comprehensive insight into your gut health, including microbial diversity, imbalances, and harmful pathogens. Through advanced DNA sequencing, it accurately identifies specific bacterial strains and offers personalised recommendations for optimising your gut health.

The Advanced Gut Test measures what bacteria are present in your gut, but also how effectively they are producing key chemicals so you can pinpoint what you should focus on to improve your gut health.

As it combines both our other tests, the Advanced Gut Test is an excellent option if you’re experiencing bloating, constipation, flatulence, or any other digestive discomfort. This comprehensive test can identify the underlying causes of your symptoms, empowering you to make targeted improvements. Additionally, if you’re feeling demotivated or facing challenges with weight loss, the Advanced Gut Test nay be able to detect any gut-related factors that might be contributing to these issues.

When and how to collect a stool sample?
Collect your Advanced Gut Test stool sample anytime following your typical diet and lifestyle so that your results are representative of your normal routine. Try to avoid changing anything for a couple of weeks before collecting your sample as this can over-estimate your scores.

Please also AVOID taking a sample if you:
- Have taken antibiotics in the last 4 weeks
- Are having a bout of illness

Results and recommendations
Our user-friendly reports are there to help you kick-start your own health journey or can be taken to a health professional such as a nutritional therapist who can create a bespoke plan.
The report will be uploaded to our online portal which can be accessed via our website or through the QR code on the instructions in the kit.

How Our Test Works

Follow the instructions in your kit to get your sample collection right for analysis.
Activate Test
Once you have collected your sample, register and add the activation code from your kit on to the portal.
Back to Lab
Return your pre-paid box back to our UK lab via any Royal Mail post box.
Receive results
Within 10 working days, you'll receive your report with results and recommendations.
